Rules:
Be respectful-
a) Treat others as you wish to be treated
b) Treat your teachers as you wish to be treated
c) Respect the classroom, clean up after yourself.
Come to class on time-
a) I begin teaching when the bell rings. If you are late, quietly come in and do not distract others who were here on time.
Do not miss class-
a) If you are going to miss, let me know in advance it is your job to make up any missed work.
Be prepared for class-
a) Come with laptop, pen, paper textbook and positive attitude.
b) Be prepared to discuss readings that should have been completed for homework.
If you miss class it is your responsibility to make up any missed work.
It is not my job to keep you focused in class. If you choose to not pay attention then that is your choice.
Please stop me if you have a question or need clarification on something.
Please correct me if I am wrong. I am a human and I make mistakes.
Expectations:
All texts read in class will be provided, therefore I expect them to be brought to each class.
Everyone should be excited and engaged during class time.
All work must be completed with honesty and honor. Plagiarism of any kind will not be tolerated.
If you need to use the restroom or be excused for any reason, please do so without interrupting myself or the class.
Late homework will be accepted ( conditionally) and will receive partial credit. If it is not turned in 2 days after it is due, then no credit will be awarded.
Test and Quiz corrections are encouraged and will result in partial credit.
